A Mover’s primary role is to transport furniture and other items from one place to another. A Mover’s ultimate goal is to safely and quickly deliver all items to the client’s satisfaction. This involves the Mover’s participation in every step of the moving process, from prepping items for the journey to unloading them at the new space. An effective Mover collaborates with the team and with clients to keep items safe from damage during the move. When performed correctly, this role directly contributes to a positive customer experience.

A Mover provides support to commercial and residential customers moving items from one space to the next, often as part of a team. Their main duties include preparing items for a move, loading and transporting them without damage, and safely unloading them at their final destination.
