Policymakers often use this information to help make informed decisions and shape the policies they create. The data that a Political Analyst uses comes from a variety of sources, including surveys, studies and census data. To share analyses, a Political Analyst might publish papers, write reports or give presentations. This job often involves travel, sometimes to foreign companies, to learn about political and social events as they unfold.
A Political Analyst, or Political Scientist, researches and studies various political issues. Their duties include collecting data, analyzing political trends and creating theories on political topics.
