Mall Security Guard

A Mall Security Guard works in all areas of a shopping mall. They might walk through the shops and common areas to discourage people from shoplifting or causing harm. Sometimes, they sit in a surveillance room and monitor shoppers’ activities through the surveillance cameras. If a security problem occurs, they respond to the location and maintain order, such as talking to the people involved, detaining suspects or removing offenders from the mall property. Some Mall Security Guards drive around parking lots to look for suspicious activity. When incidents happen, Security Guards write detailed reports about them.
