Sales Consultants are typically employed by companies who sell high-value items to individual consumers or complex services to other businesses. Sales Consultants may travel for their role to meet with clients in different areas of the country or the world. They’re often the primary connection between the customer and the company until the customer actually makes a purchase. They may perform duties like creating presentations, answering client questions and managing transactions.
