A competitive Personal Chef will have certain skills and qualifications, including:
- Understanding of how to combine flavors to create balanced dishes
- Interview skills to ask questions to gain an understanding of client needs
- Extensive knowledge of cooking techniques and ingredients
- Attention to detail to follow recipes and plate meals in an appealing manner
- Strong organizational skills to plan and prepare meals for multiple clients
- Basic understanding of nutrition and food allergies
