They work closely with marketing teams to create material that captures the experience being planned. Entertainment managers often maintain relationships with talent agents and venue owners to deliver consistent results.
What does a Entertainment Manager do?
An Entertainment Manager acts as a liaison between performers and the company or venue hiring them for a specific event. The primary functions of this role consist of finding and vetting various performers, supervising the event and managing a team tasked with keeping the event aligned with what the client had envisioned.
Responsibilities

  • Maintaining relationships with clients, entertainers, venues and other corporate entities
  • Ensuring entertainment and event planning stays within budget
Required Skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with performers and corporate entities alike
  • An understanding of currently available acts and venues appropriate for any given event
  • Knowledge of best practices for marketing events online and in person
