Required Skills

A competitive Lawn Care Specialist will have certain skills and qualifications, including:

An understanding of different types of grass, plants, tree and flowers, including specific care requirements
A knowledge of different soil types, including pH levels and nutrient requirements
The ability to identify and manage common lawn pests and plant diseases
Proficiency with lawn care equipment, such as mowers and trimmers
Solid grasp of irrigation systems, including how to install and maintain them
The ability to stand, bend and lift for extended periods of time
