Car Porters keep the vehicles in good condition with light cleaning and maintenance to make them more appealing to customers. Cleaning the interiors and exteriors of vehicles
Performing maintenance tasks, such as topping off vehicle fluids
Placing stickers and signs on vehicles
Cleaning the auto dealership parking lot, including picking up trash and removing snow or ice
Starting vehicles regularly and making sure there aren’t any issues with them
Running errands for various departments, including sales, parts and auto body

Required Skills

A competitive Car Porter will have certain skills and qualifications, including:

A valid driver’s license in the state
A clean driving record
Ability to follow instructions closely
Time-management and multitasking skills to handle multiple vehicle requests on busy days
Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safe driving
Willingness to take responsibility for high-value vehicles
