Personal Trainers work at gyms, boot camps, fitness studios and sports clubs to provide one-on-one guidance and advice for clients who want to improve their physical strength and stamina through exercise. They meet with clients to learn about their physical condition and fitness goals, then discuss realistic ways to achieve those results. Personal Trainers teach their clients how to properly use workout equipment and follow workout plans to target different areas of the body. They measure client success and make adjustments in their methods to overcome obstacles and motivate their clients to develop healthy habits.

A Personal Trainer, or Fitness Coach, is a health, exercise and wellness coach responsible for helping their clients achieve their goals for physical fitness. Their duties include planning and supervising workout regimens, coaching clients on their form during exercise and tracking fitness and performance goals over time.
Ansvar
Et Personal Trainer bør være i stand til at udføre forskellige pligter og ansvar. Følgende er nogle pligter og ansvarsområder en Personal Trainer bør kunne udføre:
  • Creating personalized workout routines to improve muscular endurance, flexibility and cardiovascular health.
  • Setting fitness goals and monitoring their clients’ progress
  • Recommending a nutritionist to give dietary advice and producing plans to help clients eat healthy meals.
  • Instructing clients to use gym equipment properly to complete their workout
Nødvendige færdigheder
En konkurrencedygtig Personal Trainer vil have visse færdigheder og kvalifikationer, herunder:
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service to accommodate client needs
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to work with their clients
  • Thorough understanding of dietary procedures that improve clients’ health
  • Excellent knowledge of how to use gym equipment properly and train clients accordingly
