A Mall Security Guard works in all areas of a shopping mall. They might walk through the shops and common areas to discourage people from shoplifting or causing harm. Sometimes, they sit in a surveillance room and monitor shoppers’ activities through the surveillance cameras. If a security problem occurs, they respond to the location and maintain order, such as talking to the people involved, detaining suspects or removing offenders from the mall property.
